Procedures

Besides trauma and fractures, orthopedic care includes spinal (back) problems, arthritis, hand surgery, foot surgery, industrial injuries, and sports medicine.

Several specialized surgical techniques such as arthroscopic surgery and total joint replacement are sometimes required to treat these problems.

Because of the size and the varied interests of our members, we will almost always have a physician with the specific training and experience to treat your orthopedic problem.

Osteotomy and Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty -Total joint replacement (arthroplasty) is a common and very successful surgery for people with degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis) of the knee.

LOWER BACK, PELVIC, and HIP PAIN

Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS): AS is a chronic inflammation of the spine and the sacroiliac joint (the point where the spine meets the pelvic bone) that can also cause inflammation in other joints.

Low Back Surgery

Sciatica: If you suddenly start feeling pain in your lower back or hip that radiates down from your buttock to the back of one thigh and into your leg, your problem may possibly be due to a protruding disk in your lower spinal column pressing on the roots to your sciatic nerve.

Joint Replacement: A surgical procedure to remove a diseased or injured joint and insert an artificial ball-and-socket joint. Joint replacement is often performed to alleviate hip pain and disability from arthritis.

NECK PAIN

Cervical Spine Degeneration: The deterioration of quality of the seven segments of spinal tissue between the base of the skull and the thoracic spine.
